What a day this has been! I worked at the Noble House today and had some very interesting visitors…

Touring Door County
A friend of ours was camping in our driveway this past week while she waited for her campground to open and tried to recover from bronchitis. She has never been to Door County before, so I took this opportunity to show her around. (Warning: this blog is long but worth it!)

Continue readingThe men bury the hatchet
Some of the men in my church went hatchet-throwing on Friday night at St. Hubert’s Ax Throwing. Mark thought it sounded like fun, so he went.

I had volunteered, about a month ago, to be on a planning committee for some events at my church, and the first one was a Hawaiian-themed lunch after church today. Continue readingA beautiful funeral
Today was the day for Phung’s (pronounced Foam) funeral. She had asked everyone to dress as though they were going to a wedding, and the funeral itself was beautiful. Even the weather turned out to be lovely though cold.
Continue readingFamily help and friendly prayers!
Mark has a sister in Ogden, Sharon, who brought us her car to use for a couple of days, and her son, Trevor, is going to help her get around while we have her car. My family has also been helping us, and I also want to thank all of you who have been praying for us. All prayers are gratefully received!
