Some of the men in my church went hatchet-throwing on Friday night at St. Hubert’s Ax Throwing. Mark thought it sounded like fun, so he went.

In fact, St. Hubert’s had several games the guys could play. One of them was like bowling where each ring on the target had a different number and the bull’s eye was like getting a strike. Mark and Pastor Adam played a round of the game, and Mark beat the pastor by 2 points! Pastor Adam posted these pictures on the church’s Facebook page and everyone in church was talking about it this morning. They were calling Mark a “sleeper”. I finally asked a friend of mine what it means to be a sleeper in this context. She said it’s someone who is quiet and inconspicuous, but in something like this, they come out and surprise you with their skills! Mark was pretty pleased with himself. 😀
