In the middle of the night last night, sometime between 3:00 and 4:00 in the morning, we woke up to the sound of a couple fighting loudly outside our room.  I think they had at least one teenaged son because I heard him tell his dad that he’d found something.  I almost wondered if he was trying to pacify his dad to get him to stop yelling.  It was rather upsetting. Final Bridges event

Last night was the final Bridges event for the students.  The first part of the evening was spent on the drive range at the golf course in Ephraim, and the last part of the evening was spent at First Baptist Church in Sister Bay where they served a Thanksgiving meal.   Continue reading

Time with the kids

Mark took me to work this morning at the Noble House and then he went and picked Merih up for some guy time.  Mark has been working on Merih’s car for at least the last couple of weeks, and it was hoped that with Merih’s help, they might be able to finish, but this car is not so easy to fix.  However, Mark thinks that they should be able to have it driveable by next Tuesday.  Merih is certainly hoping so!
