From Milwaukie, OR

We finally made it here.  We arrived around noon and then Mark tried to get everything set up.  For some reason, our electrical keeps tripping the breaker, so we will need to use the generator in the RV until Mark can find the parts to fix it.  We also need to get another hose so we can hook up to water.  We are just really happy to have landed, and the family has been contacting us to welcome us back.  Since I wasn’t able to show pictures from yesterday, I’ll include some of those today. Autumn

I’m not exactly sure which season I like best, but right at the moment, fall is my favorite.  People come to the peninsula in October to observe the autumn colors.  I have been driving around with my camera for the last week or so in case there’s something I want to shoot, and I’ve been glad to have my camera along many times. Through the woods

I have known for a while that there is a snow mobile trail in the woods behind Lynn’s and Karen’s house, but I had never ventured far enough onto their property to find it.  Yesterday, Lynn and her dog, Sasha, took Tucson and me for a walk there and I discovered that the trail led to the field behind the fire station where I work.  This morning, I decided to walk to work. From Phoenix, AZ

Last night I learned that there is a training I need to attend tomorrow at 1:00 pm, so we pushed today to get to Phoenix.  We left Wheeler Ridge this morning at 9:05 am.  The temperature was 59°.  We try to avoid Los Angeles as much as possible even in the best of times, so today we came up with our own route to I-10.
