We moved into our RV earlier this week, but we’re still sitting in our driveway. We discovered last year that by moving into the RV early, if we think of something we wanted to take with us, we only have to go into the house to get it.

Cutting through the jungle

By fall, it is completely overrun with everything from ferns and goldenrod to Queen Ann’s lace and a sort of locust tree (Robinia hispida) we can’t seem to get rid of. We spent most of the day apart — he driving to Milwaukee, a three hour drive each way, and me spending a good part of the day at the local laundromat cleaning up more stuff the mice got into. We did eventually get together for a dinner which we ordered as curbside delivery.

Today was Mark’s first day back doing his business here in Door County. He had a rough beginning because he couldn’t find his business phone, but he still got several places de-winterized.
