I wasn’t sure when my last day at the Noble House for this season would be, but my boss told me at the end of my shift today that the museum will be closed next weekend. I ended the season with a bang!

Liberty Grove Historical Society Vintage Market – 2
Today was the last of two Vintage Markets held at the Liberty Grove Historical Society Museum. Last month, I tried to sell some of my Halloween kits; this month I tried to sell Thanksgiving and Christmas kits. I also carried over my Wanda’s Journey line and sold two of those, and I took a bunch of wooden hoop frames and sold several of them. I only made about half as much as I did last month. 🙁 One plus is that I finally figured out how to use the Square I bought for taking payments through my Etsy website. It was kind of nifty!

One of you wrote to me yesterday and said it had been a while since she had heard from me and she wondered if Mark and I were OK. I’ve been running around like a chicken with my head cut off, but yes, we are both fine!

You may not remember – I know I had kind of forgotten about it – that a couple of months ago, I was asked to interview with someone from Workamper News who does podcasts for Workampers. I got another roll of batting yesterday and Mark and I realized that I am going to need the whole craft room for my office. I had hoped we could be creative in there together, but I’m bursting at the seams with all the kits I’ve been making in the last couple of weeks. But I found a space for Mark to move to…

A man in my church has a grandchild named Ashton who came for a two-week visit starting during the 4th of July weekend. Gene and his wife work all week and he didn’t want Ashton to be home alone, so he asked if Ashton could come to my place while he works. I readily agreed!

Mark is taking a three day weekend for the holiday, so of course, he worked on some projects around the house. He mowed the front lawn, started trying to clean one area of the garage (where he found a whole bunch of mouse droppings), and…
