I went to church this morning and asked for prayer for Mark’s last day on the road. All afternoon, Tucson seemed kind of antsy, like she knew he was supposed to be arriving today. Both of us were listening every time we heard a motorcycle. Finally, this evening after 5:30 we were outside waiting for what we knew had to come at any time, and we were rewarded with the sound of a motorcycle turning into the church parking lot. When Mark rounded the corner of the church, I squealed and skipped over to him with my arms open wide! Tucson ran to him too, but I beat her there!

Re-run
Because we weren’t able to tow the motorcycle behind us on our trip from Oregon to Arizona, on Monday, Mark flew back to Oregon to get his motorcycle and he’s been working on making his way back here by bike.

For the last couple of days, I’ve been trying to arrange with our J-1 students to go on a boat tour put on by the youth group that has done things with my kids before, but by lunchtime today, I had given up hope and told the leader not to count on any of us.

Today, Mark was home and Ashton was here so we did some work and we did some play! Ashton and I have been starting out each day by watching an episode of The Chosen about the life of Jesus. If you haven’t seen it, you can get it on your computer by googling The Chosen and Episode 1 or whichever episode you are on. I highly recommend it. It’s the best portrayal of Christ I’ve ever seen. He has a twinkle in His eyes!
