An evening at the theater

Yesterday Kathy asked if she could see Mark and me in her office and I thought, “Oh, oh!”  However, she only wanted to ask if we’d like to see a free play tonight.  She said she and Tim would cover our evening rounds if we wanted to go, so we jumped at the opportunity.  Our co-workers, Susan and Cherie also went and we followed them to the theater. The church of The Old Rugged Cross

When Mark and I were researching churches in the area we found that there are not many in this tip of the peninsula, but Sturgeon Bay has both an LDS church and a Friends church.  They both meet at 10:00 on Sunday morning, so since we’d been to Mark’s church last week, we went to the Friends Community Church this morning. From Little Rock, AR

Last night several of us class members initiated a new fire ring Mark and I got and roasted marshmallows.  We stayed up late talking, and then this morning everyone helped each other get ready to leave.  Ricky and Mike helped Mark load his Harley into the truck and then we said our goodbyes to them.  Lance drove by and wished us luck in our business and safety in our travels.  Then I went over to Bob and Sally’s RV and knocked on the door.  Bob came out and chatted with us for a while.  He said he would recommend all of us to RVIC if we all wanted to contract with them.  After all the goodbyes, we hit the road. Girls’ day out

All in a day’s work

Last night before Mark and I went to bed we noticed that our electricity wasn’t working.  This morning Mark fired up the generator.  He tried checking our fuse box and everything, but couldn’t find what the problem was.  I went out to feed the pigs and saw Karl already in the barn.  When he found out we didn’t have electricity he went to look at our situation with Mark and discovered that the problem was in the electricity coming from the cabin where we’re hooked up.
