God’s provision for us
We went to my church, Community Friends Church, yesterday. In the “programmed” Friends meetings, there is a time for open worship. This is a designated five or ten minute period of silence where people can talk about what God is doing in their lives, ask for prayer, read a passage of scripture, sing, or whatever they feel moved by the Spirit to do. So I shared about coming to the point of thanking God that we won’t be able to come back to Wagon Trail Campground next year and that my life is in upheaval and I don’t know what He’s doing, but deciding to trust Him. Mark says I bury my head in the sand when it comes to the news, and he’s probably right. I quit watching the news and reading newspapers a long time ago because the news just brought me down. I can be a lot more optimistic when I just keep track of what’s going on around me. Many beloved hymns
Wow! I had quite the response to my request for the words to your favorite hymns! I received words to a number of hymns I don’t think I’ve ever heard before, but the words are wonderful. I’ll try seeing if I can find the hymns on Spotify or YouTube so I can hear the tunes. Thank you to all of you who sent me so many great hymns!
