Victorian Wedding Exhibit
I happened to have my camera with me at the Noble House today, and there was so much light streaming in the windows, I decided to take some pictures during a quiet moment. We are doing an exhibit of Victorian weddings this year. I am not going to show or tell everything I say during my tours because I want to give my mother the tour when she comes here at the end of October. I have wonderful news from my pastor, Nancy Bontempo, today. She finally had a successful biopsy that told the doctors what they needed to know before treating her. The upshot is that she will not have to have a mastectomy! Praise the Lord! Continue reading

Last day of freedom
Tomorrow, I pretty much start my new work schedule for the season. We had a staff meeting at the Visitor Center this afternoon to go over everything we need to know to work there. My head is spinning!
Lots happening…
The furnace guys came around 8:30 this morning to put the ductwork in. Apparently, at 12:20, the delivery people tried to deliver our new tub, but with the furnace truck in the driveway, I guess they decided not to drop it off. I was out getting lunch for the young men and me so I didn’t know about until I found their note tucked into my screen door. And at 1:30, Bill Curran came to work some more on our bathroom vanity.
