Family help and friendly prayers!

Mark has a sister in Ogden, Sharon, who brought us her car to use for a couple of days, and her son, Trevor, is going to help her get around while we have her car. My family has also been helping us, and I also want to thank all of you who have been praying for us. All prayers are gratefully received!

From Salt Lake City, UT – with a slight mishap…

Mark and I had just crossed the border into Utah and been driving on Highway I-80W when a bunch of cars started honking at us as they drove by. Otherwise, it was completely dark outside!

I called one of the lodgings I call every week to find out what their availability is like, and I asked the hotel manager how he was doing. He said he wanted to crawl under his desk!

You know you’re in Door County when…

…Mark gets a chance to wear a Viking hat! This was a picture and story I forgot to tell on Sunday but thought you might enjoy. We went to Al Johnson’s Swedish Restaurant (the one with the goats on the roof!) in Sister Bay for lunch after church, and while we were waiting to get a table, we went into their boutique to see what wonderful things they had.
