A man in my church has a grandchild named Ashton who came for a two-week visit starting during the 4th of July weekend. Gene and his wife work all week and he didn’t want Ashton to be home alone, so he asked if Ashton could come to my place while he works. I readily agreed!

Champoeg State Park was going to be full from tonight through Saturday night when Wendy first made a reservation for us this last week. Final Bridges event
Last night was the final Bridges event for the students. The first part of the evening was spent on the drive range at the golf course in Ephraim, and the last part of the evening was spent at First Baptist Church in Sister Bay where they served a Thanksgiving meal. Continue reading
