I know it seems like I’ve dropped off the face of the earth for the last couple of weeks, but I have a good reason. I’ve been working. The last two weeks, H&R Block has been in peak season. I have been working four-day weeks, but in calculating my hours for the pay period yesterday, I discovered I had worked a little over 99 hours! Continue reading

Umm…On your mark…?
OK, so Mark and I were talking about things today and he says we probably could have left by Sunday except that we need to stop in Green Bay to pick up a part so the RV furnace will work, and the supplier won’t be open on Sunday. It’s looking like we won’t be leaving Door County until Monday.
Quilt workshop, and elections
Back before I flew out to Oregon in September, I signed up to participate in a quilt workshop put on by the Trillium Quilt Guild today. When I thought I was going to be staying in Oregon, I canceled my registration for the workshop. Then when Sherill died and I returned, I asked if there was still room for me and I was told yes, so I got to spend today being creative. Continue reading
Land o’ Goshen!
Mark spent the day in Goshen today. He had intended to go up to Elkhart to open a business account there, but he couldn’t find the key to the gas cap on his motorcycle and he was too low on gas to make it to Elkhart. Guest Blog: “Me” aka Mark Fuller
Hey, everbody!! It’s Me!!!
Denise is feeling a bit overwhelmed and asked if I could do her blog for her tonight. She wanted to write it last night, but the excitement of our boat ride caused her to run out of steam, even before she had time to finish editing all the pictures she took from our excursion.
Going for a Sunday drive
This morning we went to the Friends church in Sturgeon Bay that we had gone to whenever we had a chance last summer. This is the church where The Old Rugged Cross was first performed at a revival meeting. They have a monument to that effect beside the church building. Continue reading
From Indian River, MI
We headed north yesterday and there wasn’t anything particularly remarkable about our trip, but we landed at Burt Lake State Park for the night and took lots of pictures of the sunset over the lake. I was up late processing my one hundred ninety six photos so didn’t have a chance to write. The following is just a handful of the photos I took: Continue reading
