I have been sick with a bad cold which I caught from Mark who caught it from Jamey last week. Today was the first day I felt well enough to leave the house. Continue reading

I saw Jamey and Sage off this afternoon, so now there’s time to reflect on their visit… Continue reading
Yard work and a meeting
It has been so cold in the house that generally I sit in front of the fireplace in my winter coat and stoke the fire all day. It was every bit as cold in the house this morning, but there was a warm breeze outside. I opened all the windows and doors to let the heat in, and then I went outside to work in the yard. HOME, SWEET HOME!
Mark and I could feel our excitement rising throughout the day today as we got closer and closer to home. Even when I had a migraine, I was glad to be back in familiar territory, and Mark was positively giddy! Tucson was every bit as happy as we’d been hoping all along she’d be. From Denver, CO
The weather was the big news today. We left Albuquerque at 10:15 this morning and the temperature was 56°. We had planned to head for Falcon, Colorado today and skirt around Denver, but when we checked the forecast for both locations, Denver was at least going to be above freezing tonight. From Albuquerque, NM

…Get set…Go!

He resealed the roof, patched leaks, caulked, put our new (to us) topper over the bedroom slide out, and began packing things back into the basement of the RV. Continue reading
Arizona Sonora Desert Museum
The one thing my father has most wanted Mark and I to see before we leave Tucson (the town, not the dog) is the Arizona Sonora Desert Museum. You may recall we set out to go once before and we got side-tracked by Old Tucson. We realized that it was now or never, so we went this afternoon in honor of Dad. Continue reading
Get ready…
We went to Mark’s church this morning and when we got home, I asked him if we could take a picture of ourselves. Besides my new Easter dress, Mark had gotten me another nice dress last weekend and I wore it today… Continue reading
Tubac, AZ
This morning it was my turn to pick a church to attend, so I picked one that was recommended by an old friend of mine… Continue reading
