I have not yet been able to work much. Mark has been working alone the last couple days while I try to deal with Workers Comp and seeing the doctor here today. He’s ordered a test for me and I was waiting around for that phone call today too, so not much to report. Continue reading

From South Haven, MI
We left the Indianapolis area this morning, and instead of traveling on the freeway, we took US-31 north past Kokomo and South Bend. On this route we were traveling through more rural settings and it was peaceful. Continue reading
Plan C
I had originally scheduled us to spend two days in the Indianapolis area because our second day was supposed to be Sunday and I was hoping to go to church here. That fell through when the RV needed repair last week and everything got pushed back a day. Continue reading
I’m OK!
My better half
Ever since Mark had his vertigo attack, people have been telling me about a new treatment for vertigo. Vertigo is caused by crystals in the fluid in your inner ear that somehow end up where they aren’t supposed to be, and the treatment is to move the head around in such a way as to get them back in place. End of our first week on the job
Today was the end of our first full week on the job, and it had its ups and downs. For starters, because we are working the later shift, we will be able to attend church here in the park every Sunday. Today was our first day there. Continue reading
Filling in
One of the regulars from Housekeeping was out today, so Mark and I were assigned to cover her day. I thought that the two of us would get the work of one person done in half the time. That didn’t end up being the case. Continue reading
From Stone Mountain, GA
I had never heard of Stone Mountain, GA before we started planning this trip, but it was a place Mark wanted to see. It just so happened that I have another friend I had never met before who lives on the opposite side of Atlanta and he and his wife were free to meet us tonight. Here are today’s pictures: Continue reading
