Plan C

I had originally scheduled us to spend two days in the Indianapolis area because our second day was supposed to be Sunday and I was hoping to go to church here.  That fell through when the RV needed repair last week and everything got pushed back a day.

So then when our second day was going to be a Monday we had planned to go to the Indianapolis Speedway Museum today because Mark used to be a NASCAR fan.  (I am now learning that NASCAR and the Indianapolis 500 are two different things, but Mark was still kind of interested in going.)

However, Kimba has been doing a lot of unproductive hacking for the last week or so and we decided, instead, to take her to the vet.  I was pretty sure her problem was the same one she had last summer when she started to shed.  A whole bunch of fur got stuck inside her last summer and she went for three days being unable to keep food down.  At least this time it hasn’t caused her to be really sick, but I wanted to prevent it from going there.

I had mentioned when I called to make the appointment that Kimba had been seen by a vet last summer when she exhibited similar symptoms, so the receptionist took down all the information I could remember about that vet, and by the time we got to this clinic, they had contacted him and gotten specifics about what happened then.  The doctor today poked and prodded Kimba and combed out her fur (which was flying all over his office) and came to the same conclusion I had come to.  He prescribed some medicine for us to give her and sent her home.

As a result, this has been a pretty quiet, restful day for us.  Mark took the following pictures with his little camera here at the KOA:
