Last day of freedom
Tomorrow, I pretty much start my new work schedule for the season. We had a staff meeting at the Visitor Center this afternoon to go over everything we need to know to work there. My head is spinning!
Mixing business and pleasure
While Mark was at work today, I was carrying on with the remodel, but I also took time to enjoy nature for a while.
Worse than we thought
I haven’t written since Mark got home last Thursday, so let’s just say first of all that Mark and Tucson got home safely. Tucson hasn’t been feeling well the last couple of days, but her nose is still cold and wet so we’re assuming it was something she ate. Continue reading
Lots happening…
The furnace guys came around 8:30 this morning to put the ductwork in. Apparently, at 12:20, the delivery people tried to deliver our new tub, but with the furnace truck in the driveway, I guess they decided not to drop it off. I was out getting lunch for the young men and me so I didn’t know about until I found their note tucked into my screen door. And at 1:30, Bill Curran came to work some more on our bathroom vanity. Parting is such sweet sorrow
Mark left at 9:30 this morning headed toward Indiana. I tried to delay him as long as possible so that I could have a little more time with him, but I should have let him go sooner because he didn’t reach his destination until 9:00 our time, 10:00 Eastern time.
