Victorian Wedding Exhibit
I happened to have my camera with me at the Noble House today, and there was so much light streaming in the windows, I decided to take some pictures during a quiet moment. We are doing an exhibit of Victorian weddings this year. I am not going to show or tell everything I say during my tours because I want to give my mother the tour when she comes here at the end of October. I don’t want her to bow out because I’ve already told it all! 😉 Continue reading
When it’s hot, it storms!
When I went to work at the Visitor’s Center today, the sky was sunny and blue. There was not a hint of the predicted thunderstorms. Continue reading
A little bit of catch-up
First, some news about my pastor, Nancy. I believe I had last told you that she was not going to have a mastectomy. That was the news she told us all when she sent a phone call out to the church. Tropical Storm Barry
This is a quick prayer request. I have friends in Louisiana, Mike and Betty Gill. Please pray for them and all the residents of Louisiana who are getting pounded with two feet of rain and eighty mile per hour winds as a result of Tropical Storm Barry.
Summer is finally here!
As of today, we have finally entered summer. You may be thinking I’m off by a few days, but what I mean is that today we finally hit temperatures in the mid-70s. Looking at the future forecast, it would appear that it will be in the 70s and 80s for the foreseeable future! Continue reading
The pre-demolition sale
There was an ad last week in our local newspaper, The Pulse, regarding a pre-demolition sale that was going to happen this weekend at a resort in Sturgeon Bay. Mark and I decided to go and see if there was anything we could use for our house. Continue reading
