Guest Blog: “Me” aka Mark Fuller

Hey, everbody!!  It’s Me!!!

Denise is feeling a bit overwhelmed and asked if I could do her blog for her tonight.  She wanted to write it last night, but the excitement of our boat ride caused her to run out of steam, even before she had time to finish editing all the pictures she took from our excursion.

Going for a Sunday drive

This morning we went to the Friends church in Sturgeon Bay that we had gone to whenever we had a chance last summer.  This is the church where The Old Rugged Cross was first performed at a revival meeting.  They have a monument to that effect beside the church building. Continue reading

Mother’s Day and the Big 6-0

Yesterday was Mother’s Day and I should have wished all you mothers out there a happy one, but I was too busy enjoying mine.  Sorry!  Today was my 60th birthday.  It was relatively normal with some special elements.  I have pictures from both days, although my pictures from today were taken on my phone and the quality isn’t quite as good. From Ypsilanti, MI

We only had about a three hour drive east across the state of Michigan today.  Our destination was Ypsilanti which is kind of like a suburb of Detroit.  We’re here for a one day Bible conference that Our Daily Bread Ministries will be putting on tomorrow. Continue reading

Family property

Mark and I didn’t set out until mid-afternoon today, and we stopped first at the quilt shop just up the road from our RV campground.  The woman in the shop has lived in both the St Petersburg area of Florida and in Door County, WI, so she was familiar with where we’ve been and where we are going.  It’s a small world!
