We only had about a three hour drive east across the state of Michigan today. Our destination was Ypsilanti which is kind of like a suburb of Detroit. We’re here for a one day Bible conference that Our Daily Bread Ministries will be putting on tomorrow.
In the meantime, we are in a park where we have a lake in our back yard. We went for a walk around the lake this evening and got pictures:
This is the front view of our campsite.
This appears to be some kind of red-headed duck. Anyone know what it’s called?
There is a swan couple here that will show up in a lot of my pictures.
It took quite a long time to get from our place to this bench, walking around the lake.
A fat robin
Canadian goose
Instead of a pool, this place has a water hole!
Mark was hoping to catch a sunset, but it was too overcast.
Almost white on white
Are these cherry blossoms?
The path along the far side of the lake
This is the back side of our campsite from across the lake. You can see our bicycles on the back of the RV and the truck with the motorcycle in it.
A water trail at dusk
Yellow at dusk
Geese preparing to bed down
Taken from that bench we saw across the lake earlier
Swimming after dark
Can we find our way back in the dark?
Somehow this reminds me of Halloween!
