Scattered to the wind
Last year and the year before, Mark and I were working at Wagon Trail Campground. Had we been there this year, Monday would have been our last day of work and we would have likely been heading out yesterday. I was too tired to write last night after I finished processing all the pictures I took during the day, so I’m catching you up now.

My son and daughter-in-law are here to visit for a couple days. This morning they came to see the house and the yard. Sarah is good at identifying plants and she says she thinks I have grapes and golden raspberries in my yard. She recommended we wait to see whether they are before we consider pulling them out. My last day of work was on Tuesday, the 18th, and Tuesday evening Mark and I began to pack the accumulation of furniture and clothing that family had given us into the back of our truck. Wednesday morning, I took Mark around with me to say goodbye to Mom’s neighbors whom I’d gotten to know. We left Mom’s house and stopped in Vancouver to have lunch with Mark’s mom. Then we headed up to Lynden, WA to get the rest of our stuff out of storage. Continue reading
