We woke up in the RV in our driveway this morning and finished the last of what we needed to get ready to roll. We pulled out of our driveway at 11:40 this morning. Yay!
That doesn’t necessarily mean we headed straight out. We had to stop for gas, then for propane, then for parts, we had some lunch, dropped something off at church, and finally left Door County around mid-afternoon.
As soon as we left Door County, I started trying to catch up on the scripture reading I’ve been neglecting the last few days. I’m reading in 1 Corinthians and tomorrow I’ll be on 1 Corinthians 13, the Love chapter. It’s interesting to be here on our way to a marriage conference in Portland.
Our route took us southeast toward Milwaukee before turning us west toward Madison. Once we turned west, the sun started to set.
Mark wanted to camp in a Walmart parking lot tonight to save money. The one we went to first told us they don’t let people park there overnight. More and more Walmarts are doing this because campers have abused their privileges which ruins it for the rest of us. Mark called ahead to the next Walmart and they said we could park there. We were tired and hungry by the time we arrived. Hopefully we’ll find a place to stop tomorrow night while it is still somewhat light.
