I was too exhausted to write last night, so I’m covering Saturday and Sunday. The reason I was exhausted was because I was acting like a pioneer woman or a farmer’s wife. Continue reading

HOME, SWEET HOME!
Mark and I could feel our excitement rising throughout the day today as we got closer and closer to home. Even when I had a migraine, I was glad to be back in familiar territory, and Mark was positively giddy! Tucson was every bit as happy as we’d been hoping all along she’d be. Volunteering
I know it’s been a while since I’ve written. There aren’t many stories to tell these days. All work and no play makes Denise a dull girl. Continue reading
Driving lesson
Last week when I went to meet with Liuda for an English lesson, I met her daughter driving her out of the driveway. Liuda had forgotten I was coming. Her daughter had a day off work and had offered to take her to the DMV to get her learner’s permit. Liuda passed! Continue reading
