Wednesday night, almost the entire staff, including Tim and Kathy who arranged it, got to take a boat tour of the bluffs with Shoreline Tours. This came about because someone from the tour company took the Certified Tourism Ambassador (CTA) training with us a few weeks ago and they offered us a free tour. We’re certified!
Our boss is the greatest! Kathy paid for everyone on staff who wanted to to get trained as a Certified Tourism Ambassador (CTA). Mark and I went through the training today at The Clearing in Ellison Bay. But first, a woman from The Clearing gave us a tour of the campus. Continue reading
Going for a Sunday drive
This morning we went to the Friends church in Sturgeon Bay that we had gone to whenever we had a chance last summer. This is the church where The Old Rugged Cross was first performed at a revival meeting. They have a monument to that effect beside the church building. Continue reading

This afternoon we left Green Bay, WI and headed northeast up the peninsula that divides Green Bay (the actual bay) and Lake Michigan. Part way up the peninsula we entered Door County, a place we’ve been told is very popular, very beautiful, and has lots of things to see and do. Continue reading
