Just before I left Portland, I had some time to spend with my dad.  One of the questions he asked me is why I love Door County so much.  Here’s why…

Last night Mark and I were driving home from the grocery store about sunset.  We were kicking ourselves for not bringing along our cameras because there was a glorious sky, and then we remembered that we had a tablet and a smartphone capable of taking pictures.  Where else could you see something this beautiful on the way home from the grocery store?

Loved this sailboat!  We could see a cat walking around on board.

You can see one flock of birds near the horizon and another that had just flown over our heads as we turned our cameras landward.
