We went to Mark’s church this morning and when we got home, I asked him if we could take a picture of ourselves. Besides my new Easter dress, Mark had gotten me another nice dress last weekend and I wore it today… Continue reading

Cat and dog show
This morning, I took Tucson back to the Humane Society for her second set of shots and to get a chip put in her. That seemed to have done her in for a good part of the day because she slept all the way home and then slept for several hours in her kennel when we go home. This is when I got a hair-brained idea… Continue reading
Dog wash at the farm store
It’s amazing the kinds of things you can find at the Tractor Supply Co. Right now, they have their baby chicks, but we went today for a different critter. It’s been a couple weeks since it’s been warm enough to give Tucson a bath, and I think she’s already outgrown the bin we got for washing her in. We have seen signs before that Tractor Supply Co has a dog wash, but we’ve never been able to find it until today. Continue reading
Baby shower!
It doesn’t look like I’m going to have any grandchildren, so whenever I get to go to a baby shower, I take advantage of the opportunity. Continue reading
Stuart Finds a Home
Ain’t she adorable?
We got some puppy shampoo this afternoon and gave Tucson a much needed bath. She cleaned up nicely, and then she played with her ball. Mark took pictures… Continue reading
Wild and crazy us!
I got Dobby as a kitten in 2005. Mark got Kimba as a kitten in 2006. They are old and they are beginning to have health issues. The most sane thing we could do would be to leave them in peace until they go to that big litter box in the sky. Continue reading

Besides sewing and quilting, I’ve also joined a photography club, and I’m learning a bit about ways to improve my photography through the way I shoot pictures and also through the editing process. We’re practicing on dogs because you can’t control them so you have to learn how to go with the flow. Here are some shots I took at the dog park last week: Continue reading
Farmer’s market
For those of you in colder climes who are starved for color and light, we went with Steve and Bernice to their favorite farmer’s market this morning and I took lots of pictures. Continue reading
Market day
Today was Farmer’s Market day in downtown Winnsboro. Yesterday Karl got kind of crushed by a cow so he had a doctor’s appointment this morning and couldn’t go with Nancy. She herself wasn’t feeling up to snuff, so I offered to go with her and help. There were only about five tables in this Farmer’s Market and not too many people came through so I had a chance to see all the tables and visit with the vendors. Part way through the morning Karl stopped by on his way to the doctor and left Stewart with us. Here is what I saw today: Continue reading
