Today we crossed the Mackinac Bridge into the Upper Peninsula (UP) of Michigan. We can now say that we have slept in all forty-nine continental states and we’ve seen four of the five Great Lakes. (We saw Lake Huron while crossing the bridge today. The only one we haven’t seen yet is Lake Superior.) Continue reading
From Indian River, MI
We headed north yesterday and there wasn’t anything particularly remarkable about our trip, but we landed at Burt Lake State Park for the night and took lots of pictures of the sunset over the lake. I was up late processing my one hundred ninety six photos so didn’t have a chance to write. The following is just a handful of the photos I took: Continue reading
One day Bible conference
Shortly before we left Florida I got an email from Our Daily Bread Ministries saying they were going to be putting on a one day Bible Conference in Detroit, MI on April 30th and it was only going to cost $10 per person to cover a box lunch. It was on our way, it was at the right time, and the price was right. Who could pass up such an offer? Continue reading
From Ypsilanti, MI

From South Haven, MI
We left the Indianapolis area this morning, and instead of traveling on the freeway, we took US-31 north past Kokomo and South Bend. On this route we were traveling through more rural settings and it was peaceful. Continue reading
Plan C
I had originally scheduled us to spend two days in the Indianapolis area because our second day was supposed to be Sunday and I was hoping to go to church here. That fell through when the RV needed repair last week and everything got pushed back a day. Continue reading
From Greenfield, IN
This being Sunday, Mark and I listened to hymns most of the day rather than reading a book. The traffic was light and the trip was pleasant. Continue reading
From Bowling Green, KY
It was so good to sleep in our own bed again last night! Feeling more rested this morning, we tried to stop at Camping World to get air in the tires of the RV, but no one was there who could do it for us so we commenced our journey. Continue reading
