A lot has happened for me since we arrived in Tucson. Mark has only had a couple of jobs for his business, but one of them paid quite well. So here’s what’s been going on with me at Block Advisors… Continue reading

From North Ogden, UT
I tried charging my camera battery up all day today, but it’s dead. I don’t know if it’s the battery or the cord or the place I plugged it in, but I wasn’t able to get pictures with my camera today. Continue reading
Happy Thanksgiving!
Champoeg State Park was going to be full from tonight through Saturday night when Wendy first made a reservation for us this last week. By the time I got on last night to make a reservation beginning December 1st, the park was full until the 8th. That’s what procrastination gets you! Continue reading

I passed!
This morning Mark and I went over to Mom’s house. She made lunch for us and started an unintentional fire, but Mark’s quick thinking saved the day. After lunch, he stayed and fixed her garbage disposal which hasn’t worked in several years. This afternoon, he was called to work. Continue reading
From Donald, OR
In the middle of the night last night, sometime between 3:00 and 4:00 in the morning, we woke up to the sound of a couple fighting loudly outside our room. Some Mom time
I have some catching up to do. I arrived in Portland on Tuesday evening, and on Wednesday morning, Mom and I were going to take her car to the garage to have some work done on it while she was gone. We called AAA and the man started it and said it needed to run for an hour, so I followed her to her garage and then she did a couple of errands while I kept the car running. We stopped at a store near her home and I turned the car off and on again, but it was dead. We called AAA a second time, and this time the man sold us a new battery and installed it. Then the car ran reliably. Continue reading
Autumn, when everything begins to settle down!
This weekend has been Fall Fest in Sister Bay, a time when all the locals know better than to try to go anywhere near Sister Bay. Today was my last official day at the Noble House for this season. Now that Fall Fest is over, things are winding down. I want to treat you to some of our fall colors… Continue reading
