We had a much shorter drive today and were able to make several stops on the way home. Our excitement mounted as we got into familiar territory. Continue reading

Congratulations, Mark!
There is a website I signed up for a number of months ago called Capture Door County (https://www.capturedoorcounty.com/). The purpose for the website is to allow photographers in Door County to post some of their best pictures of the county. About every month or so, there will be a challenge topic (such as lighthouses, sunsets, landscapes, etc). This month, the challenge topic is Reflect on 2018.
Butterfly float at Fall Fest won 1st prize!
OK, so it’s not the Rose Festival Parade or the Macy’s Parade, but we know how to have parades in Door County. CTA cruise
When Mark and I were still working at Wagon Trail Campground, our boss sent the whole staff to get training to be a Certified Tourism Ambassador (CTA). One of the perks of being a CTA is that once a year, there is a free special event that we are invited to so that we can tell visitors about it and maybe peak their interest in doing it. This year it was a cruise to Plum Island. Continue reading

It’s not often that something new and exciting happens in our little village, but something has happened that we hope will put us on the map… Continue reading
Our 10th anniversary
I didn’t write about this last night because I was obviously busy, but June 13th was Mark’s and my tenth wedding anniversary. I had thought for several months about what I’d like to do for such a momentous occasion, but in the end we had to scale down our plans. It still turned out to be good. Continue reading
