We were off today due to high winds (not good when big pickup trucks have their bed fully raised), so this is the day I write about a gift God gave me on September 9th. Her name is Denise Michelle Fuller. Continue reading
A frustrating day was had by all
This morning when we arrived at work at 6:30, we learned that our piler was down. There is something called a Lovejoy on it which sounds like it should be a wonderful thing, but that’s what was broken. While the mechanic worked on it we cleaned the piler and greased it until there wasn’t really anything more we could find to do on it, so we went to our cars and waited…and waited…and waited. I am woman, I am strong!
This is a question for my female readers: Do you ever feel like when you tell a man you’re concerned about something, he pats your head and says, “There, there! Nothing to worry your pretty little head about?” Continue reading
The holy Sabbath
In spite of the warmth and the cloudless skies of yesterday, when Mark and I went to bed last night we heard rain on our roof. It rained off and on all night. Mark didn’t sleep well last night so he can testify to that. Continue reading

Pics
I took our camera to work today and got pictures of the boom that fell yesterday. Before I show them, I want to say that I’m enjoying working with the other Cindy, who will now become just plain Cindy since my friend Cindy works the night shift. Day shift Cindy loves to laugh and joke. It makes the day so very pleasant! Continue reading
Boom!
Today started out as usual. Mark and I were working as tare helpers on piler one. At one point Mark finally got to use his skid steer skills and you should have seen him…he looked like a boy playing with a new truck! Continue reading
First day at Pleasant View
After our experience at Savage, I’m sure some of you were questioning our sanity for agreeing to do the same things somewhere else. All I know is that before we heard from Steve yesterday that we could come to this new site, I was praying that if we got the job God would let there be nice people to work with there and that I’d have the strength to do it. I think God answered my prayer. Continue reading
From Glendive, MT
This morning we caught Steve, the representative from Express Employment Professionals, and had a long talk with him. We told him what happened yesterday and the problems we were having and asked him if we could work in the lab. He said they just hired two young guys yesterday to work in the lab and we asked if they might be willing to trade. He said he’d check on it, and if not he wondered if we’d be willing to switch to another piler yard that would be no more than twelve hours. We were hesitant. Continue reading
What a day!!!
I messed up. I woke up tired this morning; so much so that I couldn’t walk straight. I guess I missed a couple tare samples today. By lunch time I was in tears. I came back after lunch, but it became apparent to my supervisors that I was a zombie. One of them practically carried me back to my car and told me to take a nap. I guess I slept for about two hours and felt somewhat better when I woke up, but they didn’t want me back. Continue reading
