Mark picked me up at work this evening and brought me home. This is unusual because I have usually been getting a ride home with one of my co-workers named Kat, but she had to work later than me this evening. My friends, Kathryn and Judy, came over this morning and picked me up to go thrift shopping. Judy had given me a gift certificate at Bargains Unlimited for a housewarming gift so I asked her to help me spend it! Continue reading
God’s bounteous gifts
This morning dawned a bright and beautiful day. I believe it actually got up into the early 70’s today. We went to Friends Community Church where there were representatives from the Gideon Bible Society speaking. I suggested they talk to my boss who usually puts out Bibles for people to take free if they want. Continue reading
Time with my son
I was too tired to write last night after I finished processing all the pictures I took during the day, so I’m catching you up now.
Jacksonport
My son and daughter-in-law are here to visit for a couple days. This morning they came to see the house and the yard. Sarah is good at identifying plants and she says she thinks I have grapes and golden raspberries in my yard. She recommended we wait to see whether they are before we consider pulling them out. House dedication
Today was the Big Day we’ve been working toward. We got up this morning and took the bedding off the hide-a-bed we’ve been sleeping on in the living room and turned it back into a couch. We cleaned and prepared food and got ready for people to come to our house dedication which we had told everyone would start at 2:00. Our first guests arrived at 2:45. Continue reading
