Mark and I splurged this morning and had breakfast at the IHOP that was right across the street from the Walmart where we spent the night. The weather today was the reverse of what it was yesterday. We woke up to sunshine and then spent most of the day under cloud cover instead of spending most of the day under cloud cover and ending with sunshine. The mood matched the flatness of Nebraska. Continue reading

We got farther than anticipated today. Mark was able to drive about seven and a half hours, but with stops it was over a nine hour day. He thought about pushing even farther, but by the time we got to Omaha the sun had set so we stopped. We’re making up for lost time! Continue reading
