After four years of moving around, we have finally learned that we need to make our first day a shorter drive than any of the others. This is because there is always more to do to get going than we anticipate, and because we stop on our way to load up with paper plates, plastic ware and easy food for the trip. We have to put everything on our counters (both bathroom and kitchen) into the sinks so it won’t fall on the floor while we are on the road. Thus, the need for paper plates! Continue reading

New glasses
Today Mark took me to Sturgeon Bay to pick up my new glasses. You may recall that my old glasses got badly scratched when I had my bicycle accident several weeks ago. I’ve been using my long distance glasses for the last several weeks, but I’ve been going nuts and getting headaches trying to see anything around the distance of my laptop screen. Mark took pictures of this momentous occasion:
By request of Judy!
The president of my Wisconsin fan club, Judy Boldt, was after me today for not writing anything since my bicycle accident, so I’m dedicating this post to her! This may be a bit of a mish-mash because I can’t quite decide which of several things to write about, but here goes: Continue reading
Bicycle accident

Here are the pictures: Continue reading
In the midst of a remodel and stuff
Mom reminded me today that it’s been a while since I’ve written. First of all, we’ve been in the midst of a remodel, and that being so, we haven’t gotten out much. However, I thought you might be interested to see what we’ve been working on.
The perks of working at Wagon Trail Campground!
Wednesday night, almost the entire staff, including Tim and Kathy who arranged it, got to take a boat tour of the bluffs with Shoreline Tours. This came about because someone from the tour company took the Certified Tourism Ambassador (CTA) training with us a few weeks ago and they offered us a free tour. I took well over two hundred pictures and it has taken me a few days to edit them all. Now, picking just a few of these to show you is my next hurdle! Continue reading
