Mark had a couple business errands to run in Green Bay today and I went with him. He took his pay from last week and deposited it. We went to Home Depot to get parts for jobs Mark is doing. And then we did some fun stuff!

Sunday is supposed to be a day of rest…

Mark worked six days this week, his first week of having his own business. I haven’t focused much on how that’s been going for him, so I’ll give him a little press tonight.

Shopping!
I had saved about $600 from my pay at H&R Block with which to get furniture. I figured it might be enough to get me a dining room table and chairs, and hopefully a small dresser as well. I asked my friend, Judy Boldt, a thrift shopper extraordinaire and the president of my Wisconsin fan club, to take me thrift shopping. She has spent the last two days taking me to thrift stores from Sturgeon Bay to Sister Bay. Continue reading

Mark and I have been incredibly busy the last couple days. We’ve been driving to Sturgeon Bay to get things for the house, and then coming home to try to get things set up until we’re too tired to continue.
