Sunday is supposed to be a day of rest…

In unpacking boxes that we have had stored for the last 4 1/2 years, I came across my slow cooker, so this morning Mark and I got up and put the makings for a pot roast in it.  Then we went to his church.  When we came home, the house smelled wonderful!

We had lunch and then a couple guys came over to install a Hughesnet satellite for us so we can get better internet reception.  Mark and I have had to only be on the internet one at a time, but now we can both be on at the same time!

After they left, Mark brought in a box of family photos for me to go through.  I also brought in a box of books from the RV.  I had to unwrap every picture, and even as well protected as we had the pictures, the glass was broken on a couple of them and the bottom of the box had gotten wet so the matting was ruined.  We may be able to salvage the photos.  I want to hang the family photos in the bedroom we will be sleeping in and Mark was still scraping glue off the walls this afternoon, so there wasn’t much for me to do with the photos yet.

However, I took out a few photos of Mark and me to add to the shelves in the living room.  I worked on the shelves by Mark’s recliner and I like the way they are arranged.  I may make a couple changes, but it’s pretty much the way I want it.

Another thing Mark did today was go back to Wagon Trail Campground to take some measurements for the insurance report he’s writing about that RV with the roof damage.  While he was there, the couple asked him if he’d like their rocking recliner.  They have decided that since their bedroom is ruined, they are going to put a box springs and mattress on the floor in their living room and sleep there.

The recliner is brown so we put it in the guest room right next to my sewing machine.

God continues to bless us!
