An interesting turn of events

Tuesday and Wednesday were my days off, and that’s when I did all the job hunting I wrote about in my last post.  I believe I have been hired at Tea Thyme In Door County which is owned by the women that live across the street from us.  I’m to meet with Karen on Monday morning at 10:00 to firm that up a bit.  So far, they are talking about needing me for ten hours a week in the mornings. God’s bounteous gifts

This morning dawned a bright and beautiful day.  I believe it actually got up into the early 70’s today.  We went to Friends Community Church where there were representatives from the Gideon Bible Society speaking.  I suggested they talk to my boss who usually puts out Bibles for people to take free if they want. House dedication

Today was the Big Day we’ve been working toward.  We got up this morning and took the bedding off the hide-a-bed we’ve been sleeping on in the living room and turned it back into a couch.  We cleaned and prepared food and got ready for people to come to our house dedication which we had told everyone would start at 2:00.  Our first guests arrived at 2:45.
