So much has happened since the last time I blogged. We have been having issues with electricity and internet, so now that I have both, I can get you all caught up…
Job hunting
Now that we have settled into the campground near Mom, it’s time to look for work. Mark came knowing that he will be working at UPS for the Christmas season. We were both hoping to be working by Monday, October 31st, but we found out this morning that his job won’t start till November 14th. That leaves me to come up with something quick.
A praise and a prayer request
Most of you may remember that my stepfather was diagnosed with a rare form of an aggressive thyroid cancer a few months ago. He finished his radiation treatments last month and has been waiting for the doctors to test to see how the cancer responded to the radiation. Here is a report I just got from my mom:

Persecuted Christians
Mark says I bury my head in the sand when it comes to the news, and he’s probably right. I quit watching the news and reading newspapers a long time ago because the news just brought me down. I can be a lot more optimistic when I just keep track of what’s going on around me.
