It snowed all day and night Sunday and most of the day today. We had some brief rain once or twice so I assume there’s ice in a couple of the layers of snow. We have propane and food and running water so we’re doing fine. Mark has been taking pictures: Continue reading
Snow!
I know…you all had a lot of snow recently, so snow doesn’t seem like much to you. But when we woke up and saw snow this morning, it was the first we’d seen since Reno. I have been working on insulating our front window curtains, but it’s been slow going with my hands in braces. Mark suggested I try to finish today. Continue reading
Hand therapy
For the last several weeks to a month, I’ve been having pain in my wrists and thumbs. My doctor diagnosed it as De Qervain’s Tenosynovitis. I read up on that and basically it has to do with the tendons that go to the thumbs and the sheath that wraps tightly around the wrists. Mark and I had saved up a bunch of errands we needed to run down south for, and today was our day to do them. We are exhausted, but we accomplished a lot. I won’t bore you with the details. Continue reading
Superbowl Sunday
This morning we went to church at Christ the King Church in Lynden. This is the church my cousin, Dan, and his family go to, although we didn’t see them there this morning. Continue reading
A busy winter’s day
Mark discovered first thing this morning that we had no running water. When he switched us to our water tank we had water. He says that unlike the old RV, this water tank is further inside the RV so it didn’t freeze. Continue reading
New news!
Mark and I have been working on something for the last week that I’ve been keeping hush-hush about until it came to fruition. Today we signed the papers for a 2005 Georgie Boy Pursuit RV! Continue reading
