Skid steer practice
My cousin, Dan Brim, owns Brim Tractor Company which has several stores throughout Oregon and Washington. I had told him that in October we’ll be working the beet harvest in Montana and Mark would like to have the job of driving a skid steer or bob cat. I asked if he had anything like that that Mark could practice on and he said he did. Today Mark spent about an hour practicing on a 2014 skid steer. Here are some pictures: Continue reading
Happy Easter!
I know that most of you won’t get this in time for Easter, so happy belated Easter. This evening we took Aunt Marg to see Heaven is for Real. It’s based on a book by a pastor named Todd Burpo. Finally, something interesting!
There hasn’t been much interesting stuff going on here — doctor appointments, preparing taxes, etc. But yesterday a couple interesting things happened… Continue reading
Seattle and back
Mark was supposed to have a medical appointment at the VA in Seattle this morning at 9:00. That meant we had to get up at 5:30 this morning. Seattle is a two hour trip from Birch Bay, but we didn’t know what the traffic would be like as we got closer to Seattle so we left early. Continue reading
