Yesterday Mark paid for a brand new tow dolly still in the box at Camping World in Burlington, WA, and they promised they’d have it ready for pick up today by noon. We ran a couple errands in Lynden and then drove down to pick up our new tow dolly. Continue reading

Early snow
Last night (September 2nd) Mark went out after dark and discovered that we were getting snow mixed with rain. It must have gotten colder during the night because this morning when we opened our blinds there was a light dusting of snow on the picnic tables and some on the ground. Everyone’s been talking about it today. Miss Rose says she heard that this is the earliest recorded snow in Tok (or was it Alaska?) since 1925. This is the earliest I’ve ever seen snow!
Stormy weather
This morning we woke up to nice weather. We went into work and I found out that Rose wanted me to work on the book shelves. Rose had a friend bequeath boxes and boxes of books to her and she wanted to use them all. Continue reading
Snow!
I know…you all had a lot of snow recently, so snow doesn’t seem like much to you. But when we woke up and saw snow this morning, it was the first we’d seen since Reno. During the movie, the wind blew Marg’s gas fireplace pilot light out. When we came home and went to bed, it was still stormy and blowing around our RV. Continue reading
Two weeks to go!

A good day
On our way to work this morning the temperature was in the 40’s and it was still windy, but by our first break at 10:00 it was cold. There were big fat snow flakes and the snow was piled up about two or three inches. It was beautiful! Continue reading
A blustery day
Yesterday the wind picked up. It was so strong that the door of our RV nearly flew out of Mark’s hand when he opened it. I had my cowboy hat cinched under my chin and the wind picked it up off my head. Fortunately I was able to hang onto it till we got in the car. Continue reading
