Today was Mark’s last day of work here at the Los Altos Rod & Gun Club. We now have two weeks to pack up and hit the road. It’s somewhat bittersweet for me. I’m excited about my new job coming up in March and seeing my family and Oregon friends before that, but I have made some really good friends here that I hate to say goodbye to. Continue reading

Glad tidings!
God works in mysterious ways! Mark and I were settling in to life here in California. I love my new church and the quilting group I’m part of and the Menno gatherings once a month at the Graeber home. I joined a women’s Bible study that I hold very dear, and had just started in another women’s group at my church. But God has directed us on. Continue reading

When I visited the Peninsula Bible Church in Palo Alto last month, I saw they had many activities I was interested in, but Palo Alto is quite a distance from where I live, so I decided to choose one activity that only meets once a month. I chose to attend their quilting group today. Continue reading
