Checking things out

I actually got up before Mark this morning and left him sleeping while I tried to attend an early morning walking session.  I got to Woodland Hall where we were supposed to meet, only to discover that it was called off due to a meeting in the building.  I decided to take my own walk around the park and see the end we haven’t gotten to yet.  (Did I mention there are 1500 sites here?) This morning Mark and I headed to Mennonite Central Committee (MCC) where Sue was going to show us around.  On our way, we noticed that many on the homes had clothes hanging on clotheslines.  Apparently, Mondays are wash days. Continue reading

From Paducah, KY

I haven’t mentioned that everywhere we stop to spend the night, we’ve been leaving RVIC (RV Inspection Connection) brochures.  This morning I left a couple in the office where we were staying and the owner of the campground said she has a son that is working at Home Depot that she needs to be able to get back working in the campground.  She said maybe he could learn to do RV inspections, so I went back to our RV and got a brochure for her to show him on how to become an RV inspector.  I hope he does get the training.  Steve and Coop need more inspectors.
