This morning I got a call from my boss about half an hour before I was going to leave for work. She told me she doesn’t need me in till Friday. She says that as things get busier she’ll have more work for me. Continue reading

Sunday is supposed to be a day of rest…
In unpacking boxes that we have had stored for the last 4 1/2 years, I came across my slow cooker, so this morning Mark and I got up and put the makings for a pot roast in it. Then we went to his church. When we came home, the house smelled wonderful! Continue reading
Mark’s business
Mark worked six days this week, his first week of having his own business. I haven’t focused much on how that’s been going for him, so I’ll give him a little press tonight.

I had saved $3200 toward the closing costs, but they amounted to $5600. My older sister, Sherill, gave me $1400, but I still needed another $1000. Continue reading
