Last night I learned that there is a training I need to attend tomorrow at 1:00 pm, so we pushed today to get to Phoenix. We left Wheeler Ridge this morning at 9:05 am. The temperature was 59°. I’m going to make this quick because I find myself falling asleep in front of my computer. A week on the road and crossing two time zones plus a change to Standard Time seems to be taking a toll on me.

Driving lesson
Last week when I went to meet with Liuda for an English lesson, I met her daughter driving her out of the driveway. Liuda had forgotten I was coming. Her daughter had a day off work and had offered to take her to the DMV to get her learner’s permit. Liuda passed! Continue reading

Progress!
Mark picked me up at work this evening and brought me home. This is unusual because I have usually been getting a ride home with one of my co-workers named Kat, but she had to work later than me this evening. God’s bounteous gifts
This morning dawned a bright and beautiful day. I believe it actually got up into the early 70’s today. We went to Friends Community Church where there were representatives from the Gideon Bible Society speaking. I suggested they talk to my boss who usually puts out Bibles for people to take free if they want. Continue reading
