This morning we got word that the aerial photography job isn’t going to pan out right now. I think he needed someone who could work out of a different part of Washington but we want to stay in this area because it’s closest to the route we’ll be taking to Alaska in a few months. Continue reading

A quicky
It’s late and I should be getting to bed, but I just wanted to check in briefly. Continue reading
Busy, busy, busy!
This morning Mark and I got up and drove over to Aunt Marg’s house where we had left the U-Haul truck for the night. We picked it up and took it to our new storage unit. Our old storage unit was 10×10 and the U-Haul truck was a 14 foot. Our new storage unit is 10×20. We’ve filled all the walls, but the center is still open. We plan to go through everything we’re carrying in the RV and see what else we can store that we thought we’d need with us. Continue reading
Home again, home again, jiggety-jig!
Yesterday we rented a U-Haul truck and emptied out our storage unit in Oregon. I chose to become a freelance proofreader/copy editor so that I could be free to be with him in whatever the future holds. We have a phone interview tomorrow morning with an organization where we’d be traveling around the country together. We have also been Continue reading
The last of the NCRC, and good riddance!
I took the last test on the NCRC today, Locating Information. I had studied and prepared for the last 2 weeks. I got to bed relatively early for me and slept in relatively late, so I had about 9 1/2 hours of sleep. I had a good breakfast of Bran Chex, fresh strawberries, and Continue reading
The NCRC
As I’m working on developing my business, I’m also looking for related jobs for the employment department. Several of the classes I’ve taken through the OED have been very helpful in teaching me about social networking. I’m old enough to remember the days Continue reading
