She’s Baa-ack!

Just wanted to say a brief “Hey!” to all of you who have sent your prayers and wishes for me.  My hands are beginning to show signs of improvement.  A big thanks goes out to Mark who has kept me connected with you all, and to Aunt Marg who has been a big help throughout this week.  It’s not over yet, but I am encouraged!  –Denise

Hey everbody!!

Hey its me again.  Denise had an appointment with the hand doctor this morning.  In talking with her doctor, it was determined that Denise should have surgery on her wrist on morning of March 13th.  She spent some time with a nurse going over pre-op paperwork and instructions.  Not only did the nurse tell her she couldn’t wear any perfume, the nurse told me, as her escort I couldn’t wear any after shave or cologne!!  I understand being sterile but I ain’t gonna be in the operating room with her… Continue reading

Walk on through the storm

Last night as we were driving over to my Aunt Marg’s house, we saw a flash of lightning to the east.  We were taking a movie over to watch with my aunt, Iron Lady, about Margaret Thatcher.  During the movie, the wind blew Marg’s gas fireplace pilot light out.  When we came home and went to bed, it was still stormy and blowing around our RV.
