I know…you all had a lot of snow recently, so snow doesn’t seem like much to you. But when we woke up and saw snow this morning, it was the first we’d seen since Reno. I have been working on insulating our front window curtains, but it’s been slow going with my hands in braces. Mark suggested I try to finish today. Continue reading

Walk on through the storm
Last night as we were driving over to my Aunt Marg’s house, we saw a flash of lightning to the east. We were taking a movie over to watch with my aunt, Iron Lady, about Margaret Thatcher. When I got to Marg’s house I called the clinic and they told me that lab results they had taken last week came back normal. I have been fighting an illness for several months and it seems I’m finally well! Continue reading
Snap decision
This morning, Mike from Mark’s church came over to get our resumes. He said he already knew of three truck driving jobs Mark could do if he had his CDL straightened out. Continue reading
Here’s hoping…
This morning we got word that the aerial photography job isn’t going to pan out right now. I think he needed someone who could work out of a different part of Washington but we want to stay in this area because it’s closest to the route we’ll be taking to Alaska in a few months. Continue reading
