Our weekends are now going to be Tuesdays and Wednesdays. We need to work on Saturdays and Sundays, but we chose Tuesdays and Wednesdays with the idea that at least maybe we could get in on a Wednesday night prayer meeting or Bible study at some of the local churches. Continue reading
First day on the job
This morning Mark and I headed up to the office at 8:00 to fill in all the paperwork for starting our new job. When we finished that, Melanie took us on a golf cart tour of the park. Continue reading

For those of you who have been praying about the snow storms ahead of us, God has answered in a mighty way. Mark went to dump the tanks on the RV and I did a little bit of grocery shopping. We met at Reedwood Friends Church where we’d left our tow dolly and got the car loaded onto it. We left at 9:00. I have such a jumble of feelings right now. I’m excited about my new job, of course, and nervous about our trip (especially with reports of weather conditions in the mid-west), but I’m also feeling a little blue about leaving my friends and family in Oregon. Continue reading
