This morning we decided to find out for sure where Amazon is and time how long it takes us to get there. It takes about forty minutes, and since we’re supposed to be to work by 7:00, we’ll need to get up at 5:00 on work days. Oof! The trip to and from work will be pretty, though, winding through the mountains with views of the Truckee River. We don’t anticipate any traffic jams on that stretch of highway either. From Winnemucca, NV
When we left Salt Lake City this morning, we soon got out onto the Salt Flats. They are flat and salty. It looks like you could walk off the side of the road and fill up your salt shaker. 🙂 Continue reading
Five down; zero to go!
Saturday, October 26th:
Oh-oh! I must have forgotten to set the alarm last night. We’re an hour late getting up, but we still manage to hustle and make it to Activities before the 9:00 opening time. Continue reading

The beginning of the end
This weekend begins the five weeks of the Trail of Terror that mark our last five weeks in Oklahoma. Last night all the Workampers walked through the trail to see what it will look like in the dark. Mark and I were instructed on what to do in the upside down room to which we’ve been assigned. Continue reading

La pelicula es fin!
Our co-workers took today off so they could throw a baby shower for a family member, and at first I was thinking, “How could you leave us on our busiest day?” Actually, we didn’t have many people in today. This was the slowest Saturday I’ve seen here since last spring. Continue reading
