We are beginning to have three day weekends at work, and this weekend has been mostly spent at the VA in Muskogee. Well, I should say that we had a day of rest on Wednesday, but Thursday and Friday were medically intensive. Continue reading

Now I’ve seen everything!
Yesterday Melanie told Mark and me she wanted us to put up new rules in all the cabins and lodges. I had seen inside some of the cabins when I was helping with housekeeping last spring, but this gave me an opportunity to go inside every single place. Continue reading
Family history
Wednesdays have become the highlight of my week. I can hardly wait for tomorrow night when we go to the Family History Center at Mark’s church, so I thought I’d write about what I’ve been learning. Continue reading

The siren
First of all, we’re okay. For those of you back home, the storm alert system here works, and Jeff and John drive around and check on everyone who might not have heard it. Continue reading
