On April 29, 2015, Mark and I were driving to Wagon Trail Campground for the first time. We were a little bit scared. We had had a number of Workamping jobs where either the boss didn’t like us or our co-workers didn’t like us or both. We prayed as we passed the Welcome to Door County sign that this would be a good situation for us. God surpassed all that we could think or imagine. Wagon Trail Campground is gorgeous, as you well know from my blogs and pictures, and our bosses and co-workers have become like family. I thought we’d be coming back here for as long as our bodies could hold up. Continue reading
Mark has been in Appleton doing a training for veterans for the last couple days, and he took the truck with him. He’s been staying in a Motel 6, but he’ll be home tonight. When he walks in the door, he’ll be in for a big surprise! Continue reading
OK, so this happened last weekend: We had the annual staff and seasonal spring potluck. Usually they try to have it in May or early June when more of the staff can be available, but this time it was difficult for everyone to coordinate their schedule, so Mark and I and Chris and Deb were the only staff members who were able to attend. Wednesday night, almost the entire staff, including Tim and Kathy who arranged it, got to take a boat tour of the bluffs with Shoreline Tours. This came about because someone from the tour company took the Certified Tourism Ambassador (CTA) training with us a few weeks ago and they offered us a free tour. I took well over two hundred pictures and it has taken me a few days to edit them all. Now, picking just a few of these to show you is my next hurdle! Continue reading

I want to thank all my new Sun N Fun readers for the warm send-off you gave us. So many of you came by as we were packing up and getting ready to leave. Your heartfelt farewells and “Have a safe trip” wishes were much appreciated. We didn’t get out of Sun N Fun till 2:00 this afternoon.
